nanoPurge & Protect Pipeline Cleaning

Reduce Pipeline Maintenance with nanoPurge & Protect

PIPELINE CLEANING APPLICATIONS:

PARAFFIN REMEDIATION

ASPHALTINE PRECIPITATION REMEDIATION

WATER CONDENSATE

IRON SULFIDE REMEDIATION

DESCRIPTION

nanoPurge was developed to clean pipelines, municipal gas pipelines, gas plants, gas transmission lines, and gas gathering lines. nanoPurge is a nanoparticle blend with biocides and drying agents. Our particles are propelled by a Brownian motion diffusion driven mechanism that forms a wedge effect in the pipeline and lifts iron sulfide deposits, biofilm and mild carbonates from the pipe wall, thereby allowing the product to effectively dislodge the existing bacteria cultures in and on the pipe surface. This enables the product to give an extremely high bacteria kill rate in comparison to all other products on the market.

THE PROBLEM

Sulfate Reducing Bacteria (SRB) will migrate into the pores of the metal and begin building large colonies that will cause pipe deterioration by depositing their waste. SRB causes pipe corrosion by thinning the walls of the pipe. These bacteria also build up a film on the walls of the pipe, creating pressure problems and drag on gas flow, resulting in increased maintenance capital.

APPLICATION METHODS

  • Best used in pig sweep cleanouts with batches varying from 250-330 gallons per
    batch.
  • Treatment target is 4-7 miles coverage.
  • Can be used with brush systems.
  • Can blend nanoparticles with methanol.
  • Can be used as a continuous injection to keep the coating in place for corrosion
    protection.

THE SOLUTION

The film of our product leaves 4-12 nanometers in thickness and its acts as a repellant to all gas flow, greatly facilitating and accelerating the mobility of gas. This is accomplished by reducing surface tension and increasing flow for all pressures. nanoPurge & Protect leaves behind a nanoparticle film that is electrically attached to the pipe which forms a protective coating and repels other contaminants from sticking on the pipe. This coating protects metal surfaces from corrosive attack by acid gases and organic acids.
